Open House

Open House at Stenhus Gymnasium

On Monday 29th January 2024 from 19.00 to 21.00 we hosted an Open House at Stenhus Gymnasium.

This event commenced at 19.00 in the school’s canteen, where the school’s principal welcomed all our visitors and gave a short orientation about the evening’s activities. Following that many of the visitors visited the IB booth in order to ask questions about the Pre-IB and IB Diploma Programme and student life at Stenhus: 

• Our IB Coordinator, Paul Bjergfelt, gave a presentation on the Pre-IB and the IB Diploma Programme at 19.30 and again at 20.10 in room C14 (the school’s auditorium). Many of the visitors came and learnt more about the many doors that the highly recognized IB Diploma Programme opens, both in terms of studying abroad and studying in Denmark.

• Our IB booth was open from 19.00 until 21.00. At the IB booth visitors met Amalie (Pre-IB student), Anne (IB student), Ellen (IB student), as well as Marianne Hvidt (IB Economics/Maths teacher and College Counsellor). Our IB Study Helper, Samuel (IB graduate 2023) was also in attendance.

• Finally, there were booths all around the school where visitors could go by and learn about the many after school activities on offer at Stenhus Gymnasium.

The next Open House event will take place in January 2025.
